"Wanderlust Adventures" Developer's Log - 3

Please keep in mind that all of the images in Developer's Logs are Work In Progress; most of them are mockups or early prototypes.

We've been working hard over the past week, and we have some new screenshots to share, along with a couple details about new features in the game.

As seen above, the game now takes place on the northern continent of the world of Valandria.

[+] Players move room-to-room like in the first game (which keeps the group together), but can move in any direction and at any time go back to the City to regroup.

[+] Players can join at any time as long as they are both safe (not enemies around) and on the surface of the continent (not in a dungeon).

[+] There will be three obelisks around the main continent to permit 'fast-travel' from the City, once they are discovered.

As seen above, players will be able to traverse dungeons that are randomly generated each time they start a new game. The general layout of the dungeon is randomly selected from preset dungeon maps that we create (there will be a lot of these), then within each of these layouts, every room is randomly - yet appropriately - generated from a huge category of rooms we are crafting.

Also seen in the above screenshots is our re-designed stat-bars for players. You can see Health Points, Special Points, and Experience Points all together.
